Has Anyone Here Been To The Dalyan/dalaman Area Of Turkey?

What would you recommend doing there in the summer?
And what are the best shopping areas for traditional Turkish wares and souvenirs in the area?
How expensive is it to holiday there? Whats the travel like?
What did you think of the area?
Thats like a million sub-questions too…
Thanks

Dalaman is a district, as well as the central town of that district, situated on the southwestern coast of Turkey, in the Mugla Province. Dalaman is known for its international airport (Dalaman Airport) which serves as a gateway to the tourists who visit this part of Turkey every year, heading especially to seaside resorts to the west and east of Dalaman such as Marmaris, Fethiye, Koyce?iz, Dalyan, Oludeniz and Hisaronu.
I’d suggest booking an hotel in Fethiye and going to places like Oludeniz , Dalyan etc with daily tours. They are wonderful. History and natural beauties enwrapped together. You’ll find lots of souvenir shops along the way.
If you have time , you can even go to Cesme, Alacati and even to Izmir from there ( to Izmir by bus, by ferry or by plane), it is not far.
Have fun.
Ölüdeniz is amazing especially in summertime.
You should Definitely go!
And Also Turkey is one of the cheapest holiday destinations you can find. I dont think it will be expensive for you.
If you do shopping in bazaars and stuff, You should totally bargain!!
PS:
you might wanna ask another question to yahoo answers such as:
what places do you recommend to visit in Turkey? what are the best things to do there??
